The workshop will provide hands-on experience in rapid prototyping of tangible user interfaces (TUIs) based on CNC-machined, soft, inflatable textile structures. Workshop participants will manufacture their own textile touch- and pressure-sensors, integrate them into textile inflatables and visualize the sensor data. The resulting TUIs are entirely soft and malleable and can be used across a wide variety of application domains to sense pressure, touch or basic gestures.
Please bring along: USB power supply or USB Powerbank or Laptop/Tablet with USB connection (socket type-A)
Number of participants: max. 30 (in groups of 3-4 persons each) / Participation is also possible without prior technical knowledge.
